Very good product. I had a new double glazed door installed so glazier actually installed this item for me. Very simple to use and considering my dog has never used one before, he soon caught on and is in and out of it all the time.
BIT NOISY AND FRIGHTENS THE DOG BUT WORKING ON GETTING HER THROUGH
I bought a Staywell pet door to replace an existing one. Our dog who is only an average sized terrier tends to jump through with a bit of a crash, and this time he broke the flimsy brown plastic strip, which surrounds the flap.
We purchased this to replace a damaged one that we already had. After five years of 4 dogs worth of wear and tear it gave up the ghost. Simple to fit (or re-fit) it is ideal for our dogs (CKCS's) and they had no problems in using it. The ability to 'lock' it using the slide provided means that we can keep them in, or out, as we want. Handy with Bonfire night just a few weeks away. Our cat has no problems using it either. Good product, replaceable parts, but a little top-end price wise especially from some national pets tore chains.
A very good bit of kit. I have a springer spaniel and she uses this with ease. very easy to fit, though the door cut-out infill pieces are a bit fiddly and did require a little touch up with silicone to finish off. (my choice, I suppose).
All-in-all a robust doggy door that is well worth the money.
