I was very pleased with the quality of the product but it needs to be fitted to a flat door if you want to insert the locking pannel. We have fitted previous platic flaps into the botton pannel of our upvc door but the dividing pannel in the middle of the door resulted in not being able to slot in the locking cover. This was not a problem with plastic flaps.

Staywell Aluminium Pet Door. Excellent quality, easy to install (you will need a jigsaw), we have 2 english springer spaniels and they soon got the hang of it. Decided to go for the large one to make sure they had plenty of room - glad we did as the medium might have been a bit snug. Excellent service from Petstuffgalore also - well done and thankyou!

Mostly the construction of this dog flap is good. The frame is aluminium and very flat and this stops doggy from getting a grip on it. It's easy to install and come with a sturdy blocker. Unfortunately the flap itself lasted less that 8 hours. It's made of a flexible rubber, but not think enough to stop the dog wanting to chew it. I think an Aluminium flap may have been better. It's a good door, but sadly if your replacing one that's already been chewed, the flap of this one wont last long. Luckily they do sell replacement doors, but sadly only rubber ones again.
