Have had this cat flap installed in our new house with a new panel of glass for a couple of days and so far the cat has taken to it well and comes in and out with no problems. Only slight hitch is that he lost his collar on the first day (this is the first one he has lost in 4 years but was a new collar with plastic clip) and couldn't get back in the house while we were out. If you buy a collar for your cat you also need to make sure all the metal bits are taken off eg bell and metal tab that the excess of the collar sits through. The buckle is the only thing that has to stay as is but this sticks to the magnet. However it still seems to work. I am now on a mission to find a collar with plastic bits that stays on! Overall a sturdy cat flap that I would recommend.
