Includes 2 unique electronic ID discs (up to 8 unique ID discs can be used) to control individual entry and exit through the flap - keeps all other animals out
LCD display shows selected entry and exit lock status, cat location and time since last used for up to 3 cats
Low battery indicator. Requires 4 x AA (R6) batteries (not supplied)
Self-lining up to 50mm (2") thick - ideal for all single/double glazing and any panel 0-50mm (0-2") thick

This is a quality product when it is working at 100%, the fact it tells you if your cats are in or out of the house and when they last used the flap is brilliant. My cats got the hang of it after about 4 days. They had to have their heads closer to the flap to activate the lock with the ID disc, which they were not use to. However I have encountered slight problems with the locking mechanism not working correctly intermittently. The problem became more regular so I rang catmate and they sent out a brand new flap no problem at all with a prepaid returns slip to send the old one back to them. The new flap worked fine for about 10 weeks but then the same problems started to occur intermittently again. So back on the phone to catmate, but this time they said they wouldn’t send out a new flap because they had discovered no problems with the flap I had sent back to them. So they said they could send me back the original item instead! An intermittent fault is still a fault and they should really honor the 3 year guarantee

The product itself is a very good product,but unfortunately my three cats all refused to use it,and as it was still quite cold when we were trying to get them to use it,we had to put the old magnetic flap back. They wouldn't even use it in training mode. I think this cat flap would be better used where you have kittens that have never used a different kind of cat flap
